Job Role 

The main task for the software engineer is to provide tools that support customers in fully exploiting the features of Xenics' cameras. This involves balancing ease of use with access to the camera's internals to meet the needs of professional customers. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Analyse, define, implement, test, optimize, deploy, document, and maintain software. 

  • Study and implement camera protocols, image processing algorithm prototypes, camera calibration algorithms, and recording/viewing software. 

  • Own your projects from start to finish. 

  •  

Requirements 

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. 

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, with knowledge of cross-platform software targeting Windows and Linux. 

  • Experience in designing modern graphical user interfaces. 

  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English. 

  • Knowledge of C# is a plus.
