PHOTONIS showcases the best Night Vision Technology at Eurosatory 2016

From 13 to 17 June PHOTONIS will be showcasing the best in night vision technology during Eurosatory, at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in France. Held every two years, this premier  trade event is dedicated to military, defense and security technology, allowing leading industry organizations to present their latest technological developments. At Eurosatory PHOTONIS will present the latest 4G INTENSTM night vision and digital imaging technology.

When compared to other Gen3 night vision alternatives, the INTENSTM image intensifier has the benefit of an extended bandwidth that can detect out-of-band signals such as lasers and Friend Or Foe (FoF) beacons. It also is equipped with ultra-fast auto-gating, a crucial function when operating in dynamic urban light conditions. INTENS registers no Halo, making INTENSTM image intensifiers ideal for darkest mission conditions including deep mountain valleys and jungle terrain.

The 4G standard provides the best night vision performance and mission capability to end-users. Challenging the complexity of available light conditions, the 4G performance standard detects a longer range, allowing users to further and more detail when compared with other night vision alternatives in low light. With the highest detection range, and better recognition 4G is also the best standard for superior target identification.

PHOTONIS is also an award winning technology leader in digital extreme low light imaging sensors. During Eurosatory, PHOTONIS will present its complete digital portfolio including EBCMOS, Kameleon color CMOS and the LYNX monochrome sensor in various applications such as vehicle cams, UAVs and clip-on weapon sights.

Our team of Night Vision and Digital Low Light Imaging experts will be available on stand J80 (Hall 6) to inform visitors about PHOTONIS’ leading technology solutions.
